What are we doing today? Does this question sound familiar, especially with Covid- 19 when we no longer have the playground, indoor playground or getting together with friends. It was a daily struggle until we found Pokémon Go. Now we have something to do everyday and no longer have to wonder what to do. We get to go outdoors and spend some family time.

Pokémon are everywhere, best places to catch them is parks because, they have Gyms and PokéStops. PokéStops are places where you can get items like PokéBalls, berries, revives and other items. Gyms are places where you can leave your Pokémons and do Raids. There are 5 Tiers of Raids, Tier 1 and 2 can be done by one person, tier 3-5 you need a group of people to defeat it, up to 20 people. Once the Raid is done you will get a chance of catching the Pokémon.

They have many events to get people to go out and socialize. But for now, you can go out with your family and do the events with out socializing. Every Wednesday between 6-7 P.M. there is spotlight hour, where one Pokémon is seen all over for and it has a higher chance of getting a shinny Pokémon which is a different color than it is normally. On Wednesdays is Raid hour from 6-7 where every Gym has a raid. Once a month they have Community day one Pokémon is seen all over and there are special items you can get that day.

Pokémon is a fun game to play together as a family, get out of the house, while social distancing. Once we are all able to go out and hang out with others you will continue playing the game and meet new people.
