Cirque Holidays

Over this past weekend I was fortunate to attend Cirque De La Symphone. As I am trying to show my child all forms of arts and entertainment, this show was even more spectacular than I could have imagined. Both the symphony of the Americas and the dancers were amazing.

Symphony of the Americas is the longest running Broward county symphony over 30 years, right here in our home town. It’s a pretty cool fact. Most Symphony do not last that long!

As I was unsure the symphony would be something for my 6 year to enjoy having both nostalgic pieces from The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty from my ballet dancing days made it worth while. We loved the holiday pieces which brought us further into the Christmas/holiday spirit, which can be tough at times living in the sunshine state with no snow or winter vibe.

Each act was both entertaining and we were both in awe of how the dancers were able to incorporate the music and dance so eloquently. We will definitely be attending future symphony events!
