Visiting Candytopia at the Aventura Mall

I have to tell you how my family and I spent our Saturday morning in the a/c at Aventura Mall in the most delightful hour at Candytopia.

After we checked in at our reserved time slot, we were given a piece of candy and waited in the first room for instructions on how to proceed. We were instructed to wear our masks throughout unless it was for a photo op, eating candy was not allowed on premises but could be enjoyed in the cafeteria and finally the marshmallow pit would not be open due to Covid 19 precautions.

Off to the next room, where we guessed and won chocolate. ALL of the displays are made of candy and it’s a cool, futuristic, colorful, bright, explosion of fun in every room. Even confetti was part of our interactive experience.

Each room had a unique theme and more candy! We collected, took pictures and enjoyed the exhibits. We could guess how many candies and hours it took for each display and then compare it to the informational display of each installment/sculpture.

There was plenty of hand sanitizers, masked personnel to assist and groups being paced and staggered to enter throughout the exhibits.

Special note is the amazing app that captures some very beautiful pictures with a QR code on your phone at some of the backgrounds.

It was a fun way to burn off some energy, make some memories and enjoy some family time together.
