Have you heard of Target’s Cat & Jack return policy?!

We all turn to social media to learn tips, tricks and more. One thing I came across was the viral Cat & Jack return hack… This one I had to try for myself to see if it’s true. I started by googling the actual policy itself and read through Target’s policies. The one that applies here is this one- Target Owned Brand items: If you’re not satisfied with any Target Owned Brand item, return it within one year with a receipt for an exchange or a refund.* With Cat & Jack you simply go to the store and state you want to return the item under the Cat & Jack policy. (any reason! new, old, torn, worn etc)

Cat & Jack launched in July 2016, it is a kids’ and baby apparel and accessories line featuring high-quality wardrobe staples and must-have seasonal trends, all at affordable prices. And because they believe in their products they offer returns (no questions asked) within one year of purchase WITH a receipt. If you use the Target app, you’ll have easy access here and they just need to scan the wallet barcode and all your receipts are available to you. I overheard an employee state that you can return without a receipt but they’ll use your ID, but they cap the dollar amount of returns you can do within a year using this method. When you return with your receipt you get the full amount paid returned to the original form of payment or you can choose a gift card. Keep in mind if you get a gift card, you will lose out on the 5% savings when you purchase the new items.

I’ve personally tried this three times and it worked! This is especially nice because kids grow so fast and/or end up ruining their clothes so quickly. I hope Target keeps this return policy as is!
