Weekend fun at Busch Gardens Tampa

This past weekend, we ventured out to the west coast of Florida to check out Busch Gardens. We signed up for the fun pass promo a few weeks back so we were ready to take our Florida parks portfolio to a new level.

As we arrived there, there was a consistent flow to enter and staff to guide you to ample parking and then to the trams.

As it was our first time there, we had our e-tickets scanned at the entrance and pictures taken for the passes.

How lucky were we to still be able to catch the last weekend of the wine and food festival! There were various selections to choose from so you could pick a few to sample throughout the day.

Although this was our upgrade from Legoland roller coasters, the height restrictions on most rides were 54 inches and that did not make our 9 year old happy, missing out by a mere inch. Also, even though the park was supposed to be open until 8, many rides were closing at 6 PM so plan accordingly.

Some tips I would recommend are to take advantage of the relax and recharge stations. Taking pics and videos take a lot out of your phone so bring your charger to keep those battery life up. Also, not all snack stations were open so bring snack back up. There are water stations to fill up your water bottles so bring your insulated holders because it definitely gets hot in Florida. There are also souvenir refillable cups for sale with refills for 99 cents during your visit. Who could resist a ice cold Cherry slushy for a break from the sun? Not us lol

We got in about 12k during our visit so needless to say we had a great day exploring and will definitely be back.
